Key Updates Supporting Strategic Growth
August 2025 – St. Louis, MO — Boyer Fire Protection is proud to announce a series of updates and leadership changes that reflect the continued growth and evolution of the company. These updates reinforce the company’s commitment to service excellence, leadership development, and strategic expansion across all locations, including our headquarters in St. Louis and regional offices in Southern Illinois and Madison, Wisconsin.
As our footprint grows, it’s essential that our organizational structure accurately reflects the roles and responsibilities that drive our day-to-day operations and long-term success. Effective immediately, the following leadership updates have been made within our Service Division and Strategic Initiatives team:
Ellie Boyer
Director of Strategic Initiatives
Ellie takes on a new role focused on driving company-wide growth initiatives and cross-departmental projects. She will lead strategic planning efforts, oversee process improvement initiatives, and align company goals with execution strategies across all locations.
Jim Auer
Director of Sprinkler Service Sales & Estimating
Jim will continue to lead all sprinkler-related service estimating and project turnover while overseeing the development and support of our service sales team. His focus remains on driving sales performance, strengthening client relationships, and ensuring consistent accuracy in service proposals and scoping.
Nick DeLaney
Director of Life Safety Sales
Nick will continue to oversee our Life Safety division, which includes fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, backflow testing, and inspection/testing (ITM) quoting. He plays a pivotal role in compliance-driven sales strategy and is responsible for expanding our reach in this critical service area.
As Boyer Fire Protection continues to expand into new markets, these updates reflect a commitment to a vertical leadership model that supports scalable growth, consistent service standards, and unified direction. Each of these leaders, Ellie, Jim and Nick, play a vital role not only in our St. Louis operations but also in supporting the success of our teams across Southern Illinois and Madison, WI.
